Ilice B&B is the perfect place to find out the magnificence of Lecce. It’s set very close to the most intriguing attractions such as Mazzini’s square, St. Oronzo’s square, Santa Croce Cathedral, Carlo V’s Castel.
Its name comes from Latin “ilex” (that means “holm oak”), a kind of oak which grows in Salento and gives the name to the city of Lecce; the holm oak’s symbol is also painted onto the coat of arms, that you’ll admire on the beautiful mosaic in the centre of St. Oronzo’s square.
Staying in Ilice B&B you’ll lose yourself in every kind of modern comfort and at the same time in the most authentic and ancient sights of Lecce. From our terrace you’ll appreciate Lecce’s breath-taking views while tasting our international breakfast including typical dishes such as “pasticcioto”, “mustazzoli”, coffee with ice and milk…and for the gluttons of salty food, our “frisa” will not be missed!

- In Licea room, as Lecce was called by the Normans, you’ll be immersed in an exciting yellow, the colour of the sun, always present in Salento land, as well as the colour of the gold light of the rocks.
- Capacity: 2 people in a double bad with the chance of adding a cot. It can also be used as a single room.
Lupiae Room
- In Lupiae room, as Lecce was called by the Romans, you’ll be involved by the green of the Salento’s nature, of the majestic olives’ trees and the impressive holm oaks, symbols of the coat of arms of the city along with the she-wolf.

Liccio Room
- In Liccio room, as the chief town was called before turning to “Lecce” will allow you to find out vitality, passion to discover the renowned city. Its red colour reflect the sunset which ends up in the crystal clear sea of Salento.
